You are cordially invited to join the Society for Historic and Rare Instruments of India (SHRII) for evening ragas presented by Wyetta Bontempo. Wyetta will offer some traditional evening Hindustani (North Indian) Classical Music on a very rare instrument called the Surshringar. Trained in Dhrupad instrumental music, she is one of only a handful of musicians in the world that plays this instrument.
The concert will take place at the Higher Ground Community House located at 2558 NE Daggett Ln, Bend, OR. Note that parking is very limited, so please carpool and park on Daggett ln or Jackson Ave.
Participants are encouraged to bring pillows or blankets and sit on the floor. Chairs will be provided for participants that require them.
The concert is offered by donation.
